January

January

January’s birth flowers are the carnation and snowdrop.

I know ! I know carnations have a bad reputations, they are often the cheap go to flower …but I have to admit, Carnations have come a long way from the common cheapy bunches you usually see at various grocery stores.

They last a very very VERY long time, after all it takes a pretty strong flower to bloom in January. They are one of the few flowers that can bloom in cool weather, as long as temperatures remain just above freezing.

They symbolize admiration, love and distinction.

Here are the few carnations that even I could not resist ( I tried I tried but these colors are unmatchable!)

1- MOON SERIE CARNATIONS ( available in mini also)

2- BACARAT carnations….the frills of the petals and the color variations just get me every time I see them

3- VIANA : this is also a fun bi-color one , very summery and fun

4- AMICO : these just look so delicate .

If you have visited our studio you know I don’t stock many carnations….but when I do, it is one of those.
