Some of our favorite roses - Part 1
it is easy to pass off roses as just a common go to flowers for many occasions, but there are some varieties that just dazzle us.
Here are some of my favorite roses to use in both daily arrangements and bridal work.
Magic Times - These pink and cream roses are not scented but their colors are breathtaking, they look almost painted .
Kahala Roses - this peachy/ apricot rose has a full head and opens beautifully.
Amnesia Roses : Amnesia garden roses have mauve color blooms with hints of pink, giving them a sophisticated look. They have strong stems and healthy green foliage. The color is an antique mauve and it has a vase life of 10-12 days if properly cared for.
Early Grey Roses : The Early Grey rose is a specialty color and reminds people of sterling silver which is commercially not grown much anymore. It has green outer petals that blend into a very light lavender, almost grey hue spiraling through to its center.
Toffee Roses : The toffee rose is a beautiful vintage looking rose that has a unique creamy caramel color and opens to reveal a very full and lush rose with a large head size compared to many other rose varieties.
Black Baccara Roses: The burgundy Black Baccara rose is the darkest deepest red rose available – the center of this rose will show some red and the petals get a darker and darker burgundy on the outer petals. The petals look like velvet and give an interesting touch to any flower arrangement, especially those that have a modern feel. They can last up to 12 days or more with proper care and handling,
Pink Intuition Roses: The Pink Intuition rose is a unique addition to any designs with its striations of medium and dark pink.
Cappuccino Rose: Cappuccino roses have a very special color. There are very few growers in the world who offer this unique variety. It has a spectacular color of beige brown with a slight pink raspberry edge.
Pink Mondial Roses: The petals of pink mondial roses are a soft, dusty-pink color, with just a hint of green and ruffled edges, they offer a vintage look ideal for romantic events.
Jade Rose: Jade is a distinctive light lemon-lime rose that opens into a delicate bloom with creamy yellow center.
