Lilac Season is here!!!!

Lilac Season is here!!!!

I wish I had taken a video of myself picking up lilacs…..apparently I look pretty funny when the local lilac season starts. My husband calls it My Lilac look….I have to say I am a bit scared of finding out what that might look like so chances are you will never get to see a video of me picking lilac up from the trade center.

If you are from the east coast you might understand the feeling as no other flower carries that same hypnotizing scent accompanied by those delicate and lush clusters of cascading blooms.

They seem capable of transporting you to a joyous land of permanent spring bliss.

While I sit here breathing in the blissful perfume of the beautiful locally grown lilacs I picked up this morning let me share with you some interesting facts about lilacs you might not know.
