Desert Haze

This past weekend we created a few wedding bouquets inspired by the desert. The bride wanted to use dried blooms in natural sand / sage and brown tones in addition to very few fresh blooms and succulents.

I love the the different textures I was able to create by using different dried grasses. palm caps, sponge mushrooms and cattails and scabiosa pods.

I dried some items in house for her: the white mondial roses, the burgundy sweetheart roses as well as the limonium. I added a few stems of safari sunset, rice flowers and some fresh Australian Peach Proteas as well as some dried lavender stems and a few Cappuccino Garden Spray Roses and air plants.
