Open House Spectacular
This past week we worked on an open house for one of our corporate clients.
They wanted lush arrangements that would brighten up the room but also wanted a somewhat modern look, that would in a matter of speaking narrate San Diego.
We used 10” X 3.5 round cylinders so that the arrangements would sit nicely on the tables giving a extraordinarily lush feel.
We used a combination of peach and orange pin cushion proteas, Cherry Brandy roses, orange and yellow locally grown celosia as well as a two toned imported celosia. We added a few locally grown succulents , some green trick dianthus, green cymbidium orchids , a few white hydrangeas, cascading green amaranthus, flowering pieris , a few touches of safflowers , yellow craspedia and yellow statice.
We also needed to create a large flower basket that would sit atop a grand piano in the next room.
We wanted something similar in tones but a bit more dramatic something that could easily demand attention from a room apart .
The base of the basket used the same flowers as the table arrangements but we added a few pinks, deep reds/maroons tones to add an extra richness to the design.
We added a few varieties of pink proteas we liked that they had similar tones but different shapes and textures.
We used maroon safari sunset in combination with deep red dendrobium orchids to give the design height. . We added seeded eucalyptus and green plumosa to disguise our mechanics.
