We all know the holidays can be stressful, life in general is stressful. We are all subjected to long working hours and most of us suffer from beach deprivation, yes that’s a thing. It occurs when you live in such a gorgeous beach town but are always stuck at work and now that the days are shorter you find yourself going through severe beach withdrawals that completely ruin your mood.

In these awful times I rely on a few little things that just make my afterwork time that much sweeter…a warming shot of bourbon, one french lavender macaroon ( This one probably doesn’t help my diet but hey it does keep me smiling! ) and fresh lavender. I swear by lavender it truly has healing powers, it is instant relaxation whenever I smell it, not to mention the amazing sleep I get by wearing it over my eyes.
