My Internship with San Diego Floral Design : Patricia

My name is Patricia. I am a junior at High tech High International. For my Internship, I chose to intern at the San Diego Floral Design in Old Town. Working here has taught me a lot about the business world. My mentor Fatima is a very hard working woman who is passionate at what she does. Working here for the past month was definitely an experience to remember. There is so much to do and learn that I have gained new knowledge and skill while working with Fatima. When I heard about this place, I knew I wanted to intern here because first, I’ve never worked as a florist and never experience or had a connection with someone who owned a business and to know what It’s like. It was nice getting to know Fatima and to hear how she she started her business. Everyday, there is always something new to learn at the shop and getting to bond together has made the intern experience way better.
