In The Mood For Love

Oh February came quick this year, or so it seems!

As a florist this month is pretty much synonym with Valentine’s Day…..as most of this month well and the previous one is spent working on cataloguing new designs , re-working the shop to create space for customers, bringing in new items and so on.

I oddly enough rather enjoy this time of the year, I suppose I am partial to any holiday that gives me the excuse to hide in the back of my studio and come up with new designs.

Here are some of our new Valentine’s day designs:

This lavish arrangement burrowed his name from one of my favorite the Peter Murphy’s song.

We brought these vases in the shop a few months back but when I saw him live in concert I finally new what I was going to design in them.

Locally grown anemones, blue hyacinths,white and blue hydrangeas, tulips, irises and Blue muscari……this arrangement smells divine!

This arrangement is both super cute thanks to the “Celfie” pot but smells amazing! China Pink hyacinths, blush roses, lavender roses and pink tulips accented by blue thistle.
